Sherry Gallagher's  Mixed Media paintings are created by first crumpling  rice paper, and collaging it onto watercolor board.   She then paints on this textured surface with watercolor,  acrylics, and sometimes pastel or gold leafing.
 The crumpled paper gives a unique and decorative look to her impressionistic artwork.
